After breakfast, we left our camp and begin to climb to the maximum height of the trip, reaching 4650 meters above sea level. During this part of the trek we might come across with Vizcachas (not related but looks like mountain hare) and large Guanacos herds surrounded by reddish rock formations. Walking down the Caspala river following, for the first time, the Inca trail we will see a rare kind of tree endemic to area known as Queñoa.

After we have lunch by the riverside we follow it until the end at the Caspala village, where locals will wait for us for a good snack. Before dinner, we could also walk around the village.
